Wordbank's localization services include:
- Conquest - a concept testing and copy adaptation service for international advertising campaigns and focus groups to ensure that the message in every country is the one that was intended. It allows the client to test and develop alternative headlines and straplines to assess which best reflect the spirit of the message and are most suitable for the local culture.
- Four-stage Marketing Communications Localization - a complete service that starts with the receipt of the client's source files and includes file preparation, content extraction, in-country translation, editing, in-house linguistic QA, proofreading, local approval management, final file checks and delivery. Client-specific translation memories (TMs) and multilingual glossaries are integrated into the service to optimise content re-use and consistency of key terms.
- Webquest - a full website localization service of a monolingual site into 40+ languages after the Website Globalization Audit. This includes an inventory definition of all file and image types and the application of various productivity tools to minimise costly and time-consuming file engineering.
- Multilingual Content Update (MCU) - a website maintenance service for frequently changing customer or channel support content using Wordbank's in-house Localization Issue Specialists. The service is primarily used by clients who provide call-centre support, help desks, CRM, and pre- and post-sales support for consumers, salespeople and channels where a turnaround time of 24-48 hours is required.
- E-communications Localization Management - a service for global organisations that need to communicate effectively with their various stakeholders in different countries via email. The process starts with a review of the suitability of the original English copy from a linguistic, technical and process perspective. For large complex projects, we recommend that clients use our CREATE service to ensure the suitability of their communication. After this evaluation, the project will go through Wordbank's Four-stage Localization Process.
- Termquest - terminology and glossary database creation, update management and distribution services to support the consistency management of key and highly visible terminology (e.g. product names and trademarks) across media and over time.
- Quality Assurance Services - a range of services for clients and non-clients to provide an independent, in-country assessment of the linguistic quality of online and offline multilingual communication. Each service is specifically tailored to meet the client's needs and can include checking for consistency of terms and layout, grammar, punctuation, proofreading and the overall functionality of interactive sites (e.g. Flash animations).
